We understand that personal safety, entry requirements, and the broader travel environment are important considerations when deciding whether to attend an international event.

  Philadelphia is an established conference and tourism area that safely welcomes large numbers of domestic and international travelers each year. As with travel to any major destination, visitors should take ordinary precautions, remain aware of their surroundings, safeguard personal belongings, and follow local guidance.

  ASCE is not aware of any broadly applicable government guidance advising against travel to the United States for this event. Some governments recommend heightened caution or provide specific guidance concerning safety and strict U.S. entry requirements. In addition, U.S. entry or visa restrictions may apply to nationals of certain countries.

  Registered attendees should consult their own government’s current advice and official U.S. entry guidance, as well as their airline or travel provider, before making arrangements, taking into account their individual circumstances, required documentation, insurance coverage, and comfort level.
